
Senior National Chess Championship 2021 will be held at the Ganges Club, Kanpur, U.P. from 13 April to 20 April 2021. Last date of entry is 03 April 2021 with a late fee of Rs 1000 upto 8th April, 2021.
All the esteemed members of our districts and affiliated units, who are willing to conduct our state Senior Chess Championship may plan to conduct this tournament accordingly.
Important
State senior is a rated tournament and it must be completed on or before 3rd April, 2021.

All India Chess Federation is going to organise two days Online Arbiter Refresher Course for all IAs, FAs & NAs on 27-28 March 21, 03-04 April 21 & 10-11 April 21 through Zoom. Undergoing Refresher Course is mandatory for all Arbiters to become eligible to officiate in FIDE Rated events with effect from 01 April 21.

FL & IA Mr. Rathinam Anantharam, FL & IA Mr. Dharmendra Kumar and FL & IA Mr. Gopakumar Sudhakaran will be the Chief Lecturers for the Refresher Course in each batch and they will be assisted by IA Vipnesh Bhardwaj, IA R Srivatsan and IA Swpanil Bansod.
Once all registrations for the course is done, the list will be forwarded to respective State Associations for their recommendation and then Batch & Schedule for each Arbiter will be intimated. No application will be entertained after the deadline and without AICF Arbiter Registration for the year 2021-22. As a special case, the AICF Arbiter Registration for the year 2021-22 can be done in the current Financial Year itself from 10 Mar 21 to 20 Mar 21 through online.
All ‘A’ Classified International Arbiters are exempted from undergoing Refresher Course. However, they are expected to complete their AICF Arbiter registration on time.

AICF is giving certified training to Chess Players/Coaches to get their trainer titles and certificate under AICF to impart chess playing culture at grass root level. The training program will be for 5 days for unrated participants (25-30 hrs of training) and 3 days for rated participants (15 hrs). The fee for undergoing this program will be Rs.1,500/- for unrated participants and Rs.1,000/- for rated participants.
Personnel undergoing this program should be willing to work under AICF for imparting training at various grass root level projects including Chess in School program for development of the game and an undertaking to be given by participants to this effect.
You are requested to disseminate this information to all personnel under your association and forward a list of 20-30 participants from your state by 05 Mar 21. The training program will start from the second week of March 21.

All our esteemed coaches of Odisha are requested to send your photo, complete postal address, telephone no.and mail-id to AOCA. It doesn't matter whether you are rated or unrated, trained or not. No minimum educational qualification is also required. Simply if you know the basics or rules and regulations of this game, please send your name and AOCA will recommend those names to the AICF. The trainers appointed by the AICF will train the coaches of the country. They will get certificates and course syllabus etc. The Chess In School project of the FIDE and the AICF will be launched shortly. All the coaches of our country involved in this Chess in Schools project will get their remuneration/ salary from the AICF. The officials of the AICF have already met many Hon'ble ministers and big corporate houses who have given their consent to support this project which will revolutionize the popularity of this game. We all have given our suggestions and everything will be finalized shortly. Although official mail in this regard has not yet been received from the AICF, but if we will keep our database ready, we can immediately send the names of our coaches to the AICF. So coaches are requested to send your details to the AOCA.
