All Odisha Chess Association is registered under Societies Registration Act No. (XXI of 1860). The registration No. is 23209/28 dated 24th September 2010 and the affiliated with All India Chess Federation.

The All India Chess Federation is the governing body for chess in India and is responsible for promoting, regulating, and organizing chess tournaments and events in the country. The affiliation of the All Odisha Chess Association with the All India Chess Federation indicates that it is recognized as an official body for organizing chess in the state of Odisha.
