Category ‘B’ (Below 1900) (ELO 1899 & below)
ELIGIBILITY: Players having the FIDE rating 1899 & below for the last three years are only allowed to participate in this event. Unrated players are also Indian players. However, any player who finished 1st or 2nd in the rating restricted FIDE rated event for the last year (15-01-2025 to 15-01-2026) is not eligible to participate. AICF registration for the financial year (from 01/04/2025 to 31/03/2026) is mandatory while for the foreign players a valid FIDE ID is required.

Category ‘C’ (Below 1700) (ELO 1699 & below)
ELIGIBILITY: Players having the FIDE rating 1699 & below for the last three years are only allowed to participate in this event. Unrated players are also Indian players.
