Dear Chess Players / Parents,
We hope this message finds you well. The All Odisha Chess Association (AOCA) extends its appreciation to all the dedicated chess players who have represented our state at the Nationals Championships from 2022 to August 2023. Your commitment and achievements in the game of chess are truly commendable.
Earlier, AOCA had published a notification in various media outlets regarding the reimbursement of outstanding dues owed to state-selected players who participated in national events during this period. However, due to unavoidable situations and a shortage of funds in our account, we regret to inform you that we were unable to process these reimbursements as initially planned. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
To address this matter and ensure deserving players receive their reimbursements, we are now actively accepting applications. We kindly request all eligible players who fall within this category to submit their applications no later than September 25, 2023.
To apply, please contact our AOCA Treasurer, Shri Sankar Prasad Mishra, at Mobile Number: 8658632226. Mr. Mishra will provide you with the necessary instructions and guidance for the application process. We urge those who have previously applied to re-submit their applications if required.
Please note that applications received after the deadline of September 25, 2023, may not be honored due to administrative constraints. Your timely cooperation in this matter is essential to ensure the successful processing of your requests.
It is important to emphasize that only players who can provide verifiable proof of their selection and participation in National chess championships will be eligible to apply for reimbursement.
We understand the significance of these reimbursements to you, and we are committed to resolving this matter as efficiently as possible. Your patience and cooperation are greatly appreciated as we work to clear these outstanding dues.
