The Affiliate Districts of All Odisha Chess Associations in Odisha have taken the initiative to organize Summer Chess Coaching Camps across various districts. These camps aim to provide aspiring chess players with an opportunity to enhance their skills and knowledge in the game during the summer break. Led by experienced coaches and trainers, the camps offer a structured curriculum that covers various aspects of chess, including opening strategies, middle game tactics, endgame techniques, and positional understanding. Participants receive personalized attention and guidance to improve their gameplay and analytical abilities. The camps also foster a competitive environment through friendly tournaments and practice matches, allowing players to apply their newly acquired skills. These Summer Chess Coaching Camps organized by different District Chess Associations in different districts of Odisha serve as platforms for young chess enthusiasts to learn, grow, and develop their chess abilities.

The Summer Chess Coaching Camp 2023 organised by Ganjam District Chess Association in association with Centre for Chess Coaching, Brahmapur had completed successfully from 25th to 31st May.
Ganjam District Open Chess Championship was held on 30th and 31st May 2023.
The closing ceremony of both the event was held on 4 PM 31st May, 2023 at Maa Bharabi Kalyan Mandap, Tulasi Nagar, Brahmapur.
Chief Guest Mr. Anil Choudhury, Project Manager TCS, USA had addressed the meeting and give his thought on chess and its benefit.
